Review
JPEG 2000 Compressor helps you to convert your regular JPG or BMP files to the JPEG 2000 format (.jp2). This program creates smaller file sizes and better quality for images. It is a very useful application to simplify the organization, viewing and sharing of images from your computer. You can select different levels of quality before converting and compressing, and the program automatically shows you before/after results side by side to analyze if further adjustments are required. Therefore, you can easily and rapidly reduce the size of an image to its half, and it will look even better than the original. Each time you convert an image, the original file remains untouched, ensuring that your important pictures are not damaged. However, you should consider that not all image viewers will open JPEG 2000 files. This will show as a problem if you are trying to view, export and share your converted files with other people.
